In January 2008, show host, Josh Brahm had an idea. “I wanted to make a youth-oriented, engaging-yet-educational pro-life podcast.”
Outreach via internet broadcast was just an experiment, but the show quickly proved a success, and fans from around the country began to listen. Expanding to an even more diverse fanbase listening from 5 out of 7 continents, a major donor of Right to Life wanted to see the podcast go to the next level.
In early 2010, Josh approached Grace Duyst, who now works as Right to Life’s Creative Media Intern, to help produce the show. Thanks to Life Report’s generous donor, over the last year Josh and Grace renovated one of Right to Life’s offices into a fully-functional TV studio, complete with soundproofing, six high definition cameras, and professional lighting.
Life Report’s sole mission is to train pro-lifers to defend their views more effectively, while being winsome ambassadors for Christ. (2 Cor. 5:20.) Life Report’s roundtable discussion provides real world answers to the toughest questions regarding abortion in the 21st century. No one else talks more about weak pro-life arguments and tactics, to help pro-life advocates be sure they’re communicating the pro-life message accurately. Life Report is fair to both sides of the debate, so much so that pro-abortion-choice people also tune in to every episode to hear Josh’s unique perspective on the issue.
